The idea for Giftsformygirl.com.au came about on Christmas Day 2006 after listening to men complain about how hard they found it to buy gifts for the women in their life and how much they disliked visiting the shopping centre to hunt those gifts down!
So what if they could find a great gift in the one place, purchase it, have it wrapped and delivered to their home without having to leave the home or office?? Would this solve some of their problems?? The answer was a resounding YES and so this website was born.
While we had the male population in mind when creating the site, the response from female shoppers has been amazing. Women and men are using Giftsformygirl.com.au to purchase birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, Mother's Day gifts, Christmas gifts - and gifts to spoil themselves too!
While a lot of our customers are shopping for gifts to give directly to their family and friends, we have noticed many people are using Giftsformygirl.com.au in some very creative ways. We have customers who live overseas using Giftsformygirl.com.au to purchase and send gifts to their family and friends in Australia rather than paying the high overseas postage rates.
